Welcome to The Injectory®!
Building a relationship with you, getting to know you and your facial anatomy, that’s who we are. Your rejuvenation journey is what makes us excited to work closely with you and to help you achieve your skin and facial goals. Everyone is different, especially our faces and goals. While we learn your unique features, and responsiveness, we will always be available to you via phone or text.
Why The Injectory®
The Injectory® is a woman-owned small business. Our background before aesthetics, is in anesthesia.
The two primary injectors and our supervising physician are all anesthesia providers.
It is this background which makes THE INJECTORY® unique to our area. You, as our patient, receive personalized care because we understand the extent of how pharmacologically variant people can be. As Advanced Practice Nurses in Anesthesia (Master’s Degree, and board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist or CRNA), we can help you manage the anxiety that comes with having a procedure. With this background we have more experience in managing your anxiety and minimizing your pain and discomfort than most injectors. We have spent collectively over 50 years explaining risks, devising a plan with our patients, and managing risks calmly and safely. Although the risk with injectables is small, as anesthesia providers, we have spent our careers calmly managing stressful and critical situations daily. The importance of attention to detail in both professions of aesthetics and anesthesia is self-evident.
“Injecting Confidence” is our motto at THE INJECTORY®. Our own confidence comes from our personal experiences with injectables and other medical spa treatments, thanks to other talented injectors over the years. Sharing our ability with others so they receive the same boost of serotonin (a.k.a joy and confidence) is why we are here for you. You will stand taller, not edit the selfie, and be mesmerized by the change you see on your next video call. This is only accomplished by listening to your personal goals, devising a plan together, while utilizing our skills we’ve acquired over our decades in practice, to achieve the best version of you! We want to highlight your best features, and allow you to age gracefully for years to come. Whether this means a little more cheek definition, hydrated looking lips with a little pout, or smoother skin texture with a glow, we take the time to hear your goals and to explain our resources available to you.

Our Team
Bobby-Jo Lutner
Owner, APRN Aesthetic Injector and CRNA
Bobby-Jo is a board-certified Nurse Anesthesiologist with almost 20 years in the medical field. She graduated from Binghamton University in 2006 with her BSN and worked as a Critical Care ICU RN before she moved to Virginia to attend Old Dominion University Anesthesia Program. She graduated with her MSN in anesthesia in 2009 and has lived in Chesapeake for over 10 years. She started receiving aesthetic injections in 2017, and noticed she’d smile a little brighter, have a twinkle in her eye or pout her lips a little more in pictures. The confidence she felt, she wanted to share. Then began her journey researching and training in aesthetics. She has received multiple certifications in aesthetics and continues to do more than the necessary research on products and technique. Bobby-Jo takes every opportunity for additional training to be successful in this field. Every client she works with, she genuinely desires for them to walk away feeling more confident and satisfied. She loves receiving your selfies exuding that confidence, and knowing she had a part in it. She is never hesitate to explain why she recommends a procedure or product, as she has spent excessive time not just understanding how, but why!
Bobby-Jo has been married for over 20 years and has twin daughters. She is a self proclaimed book nerd and proud of it , as she loves to read. She spends time with her family by her pool (with tons of SPF and a hat always!) or she can be found at the gym, working her two businesses, or with a glass of wine with friends.
Dr. Charles Curran, Jr
Medical Director
Dr. Charles Curran, Jr is a board certified Anesthesiologist with over 35 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1986. He has worked and lived in Chesapeake the majority of his career after serving his country in the US Navy. He is married, with 3 children and 3 step children. If he is not working, he enjoys trips to upstate NY to the finger lakes, or riding his Harley or flying his plane. He is a respected authority in his practice and profession, as the “go-to-guy” for guidance and advice in all matters. His attention to detail, intellect and calm demeanor is why he was chosen as the Medical Director for The Injectory®.
Christine Sammons, BSN, RN
Cosmetic Injector
Newly Wed to a Navy Sailor and Dog Mom to Ripley. After receiving her RN, Christine began working with expectant mothers. She quickly became a “go-to nurse” for many of her colleagues as she learns quickly and advanced her skillsets faster than most! A long time lover of bringing Joy to others, she desired to work outside of the hospital and was drawn to Aesthetic medicine. She values life and education. Currently working on her Masters Degree and her goal is to be a Nurse Practitioner in Aesthetic Medicine. She seeks every opportunity to learn and advance her skills in Aesthetics. Her commitment to her clients and The Injectory® is unmatched.

Nurse Injector
Anjali Patel is a highly-skilled, licensed Aesthetic Nurse Injector with a passion for helping her patients look and feel their best. She offers customized treatments, including Fillers, Neurotoxins, Kybella, Sculptra, Micro-needling, and more, to help her patients achieve their desired results. She uses the most advanced techniques and products to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience. Anjali received her nursing degree from The University of Vermont and has trained with national trainers within the aesthetic industry.
Her clinical interests include facial balancing, personalized skin treatments and addressing facial aging. She is known for her welcoming personality, and her ability to develop strong relationships with her patients. She takes the time to understand each patient’s unique goals and concerns and creates personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs. Her goal is to make her patients feel beautiful in their own skin.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her 5 year old labradoodle and cooking.
